Mobile Journalism (MOJO) workshops allow you to learn the fundamentals of digital storytelling. Workshop lessons focus on techniques, apps, workflows, and necessary development stages such as planning, filming, and editing. All lessons employ the use of a smartphone to produce digital narratives, in line with cutting-edge practices of news professionals globally.
TRAININGS WITH LEADING UNIVERSITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS
Mobile Journalism Workshop organized by Pakistan Information Center (PIC) and Press Information Department (PID) at Marriot Hotel. Where Ayaz Khan delivered the fundamentals of digital storytelling.
On the first day workshop lessons were focused on the techniques, Camera Applications, workflows, and necessary development stages such as planning & filming. Where participant performed the activities by using the most advance techniques for the mobile media production, like: making storyboard, how to filming, shots types, quick storytelling techniques, overview of digital tools, multi camera mobile production and how to disseminate their stories over the social media.

Virtual University of Pakistan has taken the lead in Mobile Journalism and organized MOJO Training Workshop. It was arranged by VU TV Network in collaboration with MOJO Pakistan and sessions were conducted by expert of the field Ayaz Khan, Gibran Ashraf and Nida Khan.

Mojo Pakistan conducted a Citizen Journalism introductory session in Karachi at BBSU University Auditorium Lyari with World Learning Educational Society organized by PYO District South Karachi. The School of Journalism was invited Journalist and Media students for one day training program at #LincolnCorner with Collaboration of MOJO PAKISTAN. A large number of students and working journalists participated and learned the latest ways of storytelling using a smartphone and APPS. The objective of Mojo Pakistan is to educate, equip and Empower and provide a platform to the Citizens and the Journalists.

Mr. Ayaz Khan, Founder, along & Mr. Gibran Ashraf were invited as guest speakers at IoBM. Mr. Ashraf said that Today, Android and iOS-based Smartphones have evolved so much that you can shoot and edit videos on your phones. Mr. Khan delivered a mock video-making session by shooting a 30-second interview of a student. He edited the video on-the-spot on his phone by adding clips and reducing their duration, inserting audio and even completing the post-production process on his smartphone in 7 minutes.
SIE Citizen Journalism Program.
SIE Citizen Journalism Program invited Ayaz Khan as a Trainer for Mobile filming and Editing session for 200 students. During the training session, Mr. Ayaz shared technical information on equipment, mobile phones, applications, editing tools and techniques. He emphasizes on focusing the element of storytelling along with capturing the right shots. He also suggested to follow the sequencing of the shots including wide, mid wide, close and mid close.

From the platform of GNMI Karachietes experienced first Media Baithak (Media get together) and benefited from the #MoJo -Mobile Journalism training. A large number of journalists were trained by Ayaz Khan – Founder for #MoJo Pakistan. Trainer covered all aspects of #MoJo; story writing, scheduling, story boarding, shoot in live, camera framing and editing. The training was an ideal blend of media and civil society members. All the participating journalists were given the task to work on stories by taking the in-dept point of views of civil society experts.
